Hannah Woodcock

Hannah Woodcock graduated high school in Webb City, Missouri, in 2018 where she focused on basketball, but also played soccer and ran track. Hannah was a 4 year varsity player for the Lady Cardinals, but she really began to gain attention her junior year where she became the leading scorer. Her other awards included All Area 1st team and All District, as well as best offensive player, highest field goal percentage, and MVP for her team.  Hannah’s senior year was cut short due to an ankle injury that kept her from playing the second half of the season. After graduation she decided to not play college basketball and moved to Springfield, Missouri, to begin a refereeing career. Hannah always knew her purpose involved basketball, but at the time was unsure of what that meant. Although there were many people in her corner telling her that she should go back and finish her career at the college level, she didn’t feel as though that was her true calling. In 2020, Hannah began coaching with the Springfield Lions where she started as an assistant to their K1 team. Over the next 3 years Hannah would become the head girls coordinator for the entire organization. With the Lions, Hannah has coached over 100 girls between the ages of 5 and 14. Along with coaching every night, Hannah also develops individual workouts for private lessons, helps run youth camps, and takes her athletes to tournaments. After many offers from different schools and organizations, Hannah decided to take the next step in her coaching career as she joined the Lady Patriots coaching staff in 2023.
