Rylan Pryor

Coach Pryor is in second season at Mission University as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, but he is quite familiar with the college, having played for the Patriots 2013-15.  After finishing his education a few years ago earning a Bachelor’s Degree of Science, Recreation, Sport, and Park Administration from Missouri State University, Coach Pryor has been quite active in the local coaching scene.  He has been an employee of Missouri Flight AAU Basketball 2018-21, where he helped conduct instructional camps, recruit players, prepare practice plans, and develop players that would help the organization grow.  Coach Pryor returned to his alma mater, Hillcrest High School, in 2020-21 to become the Freshman Team Head Coach.  While there he also did scouting for the varsity squad, helped with practice and game planning.  Next, he was an Assistant Coach at North Dakota State College of Science in 2021-22 doing many of the same duties as he had with Missouri Flight and Hillcrest.  The NDSCS Wildcats had a very successful season finishing 30-2.  This past season, Coach Pryor returned back to Springfield and was an Assistant Coach with the Central Bulldogs.
In addition to being an Assistant Coach for Men’s Basketball at MU, he will be breaking down game film of the Patriots as well as their opponents, while also covering Soccer and Baseball for the athletic department website..
