Mission University Men's Basketball has announced the addition of Caleb Peck as its new head reserve coach and varsity assistant.

Peck began his playing career at Glendale High School before finishing at Clever High School. During his time at Clever, he earned All-Conference honors twice and was named All-District and Conference Player of the Year as a senior. He also set multiple school three-point shooting records during his career.

Near the end of his senior season, Peck suffered a torn ACL in his right knee. Despite the injury, he signed with Fontbonne University, an NCAA Division III program in St. Louis. After medically redshirting his freshman season, Peck returned to the court for the Griffins before suffering an injury to his left knee.

After stepping away from basketball to focus on rehabilitation, Peck eventually returned to the game as a coach. For more than two years, he has helped lead teams within the Hoop Dreams Elite youth travel basketball program.

Peck has also established himself as a shooting instructor in the Springfield area. In 2026, he founded Peck Shooting Academy, where he works with young athletes to develop their shooting mechanics, confidence and overall understanding of the game.

"Caleb brings a strong understanding of shooting and player development to our program," Dallas Meinders said.

Peck joins the Mission University coaching staff in 2026 and will enter his first season coaching at the collegiate level.

"I want to thank Dallas and Darin Meinders for this amazing opportunity," Peck said. "I am very excited to join such a knowledgeable and experienced coaching staff here at Mission University. I am ready to get to work and help take Patriot basketball to the next level."

Away from basketball, Peck enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf and hanging out with his dog, Patty.
