The Mission men's basketball team came up short on the road Friday night, falling 99–74 to Crowley's Ridge in a conference matchup.
Crowley's Ridge set the tone early, jumping out to a 56–34 halftime lead behind efficient shooting and strong play on the glass. The Pioneers shot 53.0 percent from the field and controlled the rebounding battle 45–24, creating consistent second-chance opportunities throughout the night.
Individual Performances
Mission was led by Jordyn Turner, who provided a spark off the bench with a team-high 18 points, shooting 7-of-7 from the field and knocking down both of his three-point attempts. Najee Williams added 15 points, while Clifford Barrowchipped in 8 points and hit two three-pointers.
Crowley's Ridge had five players score in double figures, led by Azani Smith's game-high 25 points. The Pioneers also went 21-of-23 from the free throw line, capitalizing late to keep Mission from building momentum.

Mission finished the game shooting 42.9 percent from the floor and totaled 19 points off turnovers, but Crowley's Ridge countered with 17 assists, 17 second-chance points, and a significant edge at the free throw line.
The Patriots will look to bounce back in their next outing as conference play continues.
