Final Score: Mission University 73, Crowley's Ridge 78 

Location: Springfield, MO WE Dowell Fieldhouse 

Springfield, Missouri- Mission University hosted Crowley's Ridge Saturday afternoon and fell in a late surge by the Pioneers. The Patriots did get off to a hot start, starting the game on an 8-0 run. The game would go back and forth throughout the game with 7 different lead changes. The Pioneers would go on a big run early taking a 10-point lead. The Patriots would use the 3-point line and take the lead back before the end of the first half behind a big 3 from Ryder Williams. The Patriots would be up 1 at halftime. 

The 2nd half began and looked a lot like the first half in the game going back and forth exchanging the lead. The Patriots would build a lead halfway through the 2nd half behind Jacques Thomas's 10-point 2nd half. The Pioneers would be the more clutch team in taking over late in the game and giving them the 5-point win. 

Highlights 

• Jaquese Thomas would lead the team in scoring with 21 points and 6 rebounds. 

• Kevin Sorrells Jr. Would have 11 points in 17 minutes.  

• Other Patriots in double digits: Elijah Smith 10 points and 8 rebounds, Quinn Kusgen 10 points and was 2-5 from 3.
