Thrilling Finish to Complete Season Sweep of Williams Baptist

Springfield, Missouri- Mission University won in an exciting matchup that needed all 40 minutes to decide a winner. Jacques Thomas would show his dominance early scoring 8 of the first 10 points for the Patriots. The lead would trade teams for almost the entire first half until the Eagles would take a 2-point lead to end the first half. 

The 2nd half would continue to be just as competitive as the first trading leads early. Sammy Ishimwe would use the most of his minute's scoring 6 straight points for the Patriots. The Eagles would make a run shortly after to take and gain an 8-point lead. After a timeout from Head Coach Dallas Meinders MU would go on a quick 5-0 run to cut the lead back to 3. Yet again the Eagles would respond and get their lead back to 10 with only 8 minutes left to play. The Eagles would have the Patriots on the ropes with 3:40 left and a 6-point lead. Mission would not back down and take the lead and win the game. Kevin Sorrells Jr would take over late scoring 7 of the last 8 points for the Patriots.
