Springfield, Missouri- Mission University took a long trip to Hannibal Missouri Thursday night and came up short. The game started well for MU as Jacques Thomas got going early scoring 2 lay ups early in the game. Lawson Beem would also get off to a great start hitting 2/4 from 3 in the first half to keep the game of runs going. The game would be tied with 10:40 left to go in the first half. The Trojans would then go on a 15-2 run to build a lead. The Trojans would lead 45-28 at the half. 

Mission University would not go down without a fight going on a 7-2 run to start the half and cut the lead to 12. The Patriots would continue to battle and behind a shifty layup from Lawson Beem would cut the lead to 6 with 9:20 left in the game. Shooting would end hope for the Patriots as the Trojans would shoot 53% from 3.
