Mission University Men's Basketball wrapped up play at the Bellevue Classic on Saturday night with a 104–74 loss to Bellevue University at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.
First Half Struggles
The Patriots found themselves trailing early as the Bruins' hot shooting created separation in the opening half, with Bellevue hitting 53.8% from the field and 45.7% from three-point range. Despite a 20-point halftime deficit, Mission continued to compete through the second half, showing improved effort on the glass and in transition.
Offensive Highlights
Clifford Barrow led Mission with 17 points and three assists, while Justin Gill added 16 points and 12 rebounds, recording his first double-double of the season. Najee Williams, making his Mission debut, contributed 13 points and 4 rebounds. The Patriots had nine different players score in the game, with the bench contributing 22 points, including a solid stretch from Taco Biggs, who finished with 10 points on 3-of-5 shooting.
Team Notes
Mission shot 44.8% from the field and 36% from three, marking their second straight game above 40% shooting. The Patriots held a 43–39 edge on the boards but were undone by 20 turnovers that led to 24 Bellevue points.

The game marked the team's fifth straight tough opponent, continuing a nonconference stretch designed to prepare the Patriots for AMC play later this season. Mission (1–4) returns to action Wednesday, November 12, traveling to Culver-Stockton College for a 7:30 p.m. matchup in Canton, Missouri.
