The Mission University Lady Patriots had a fairly easy time with the Central Christian College of the Bible Lady Saints in winning the match 3-0.  In the opening set, the Lady Pats went up 8-2 and never looked back as they glided to a 25-8 win.  Summer Kenney knocked down 5 Kills to lead the squad in the first set.  The Lady Saints played tough in the second set as they even held a small advantage 10-9, midway through the set.  However, the Lady Patriots started pounding the ball again like they did in the first set and took the lead for good, 11-10, then pulled away for a 25-18 second set victory.  Kenney again led the way, this time with 7 Kills.  The third set was all Mission U as the setters kept feeding Kenney, Allison Czachowski, and Ella Sims, with good results.  After getting up 6-3 to begin the final set, the Lady Patriots pushed the advantage to 11-3 resulting in a CCCB timeout.  The margin grew to 15-4 on a Service Ace by Taylor Garrison.  For the most part the two squads traded points as the Lady Pats cruised to a 25-11 third set win to claim the match.  Kenney hit 4 Kills to lead the team in the third set.

• Summer Kenney paced the squad with 16 Kills, and hit .464.
• Allison Czachowski knocked down 9 Kills while hitting a team-high .643.
• Ella Sims hit .286.
• Rylea King led the squad with 3 Service Aces.
• Abbi Street paced the team with 15 Digs.
• Ryleigh Fowler had 15 Assists to lead the team, closely followed by Janalyn Kralicek's 14 Assists.                                 

 
Upcoming action:
The Volley Patriots return to action, and play in the AMC, when they travel Thursday, October 31, to Conway, Arkansas, to face off against the Central Baptist College Lady Mustangs. Match time for the Lady Patriots is at 6 pm.
