ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Mission University women's volleyball earned a four-set conference victory Monday afternoon, defeating Harris-Stowe State University 28-26, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22 on the road.

Mission battled through a back-and-forth opening set, edging Harris-Stowe 28-26 to take an early 1-0 lead.
The Hornets answered in the second set, taking a 25-23 decision to even the match at one set apiece.
Mission regained control in the third set, hitting .083 while holding Harris-Stowe to a -.053 hitting percentage. The Patriots took the set 25-18 to move back in front 2-1.
The Patriots closed out the match in the fourth set, overcoming Harris-Stowe 25-22 to secure the four-set victory.
Shelby Evans led Mission with 18 kills while hitting .361. Maddie Rue added 10 kills, while Abbi Street and Allie Czachowski each recorded eight kills. Jaida Generette finished with five kills.
Addison Brizendine led the Patriots with 22 assists, while Callie Terrell added 17 assists. Garrison led Mission with nine digs, while Evans and Terrell each recorded nine and 12 digs, respectively.
