CABOT, Ark. — The Mission University men's golf team competed March 16–17 at the CBC Spring Invite, hosted by Central Baptist at Cypress Creek Golf Club.
The Patriots finished 5th overall in a competitive field with a three-round team score of +89, showing steady improvement throughout the tournament.
Mission was led by international standout Franco Safe, who delivered the highlight performance of the event with a final-round 69 (-3). Safe's under-par round was one of the best individual rounds of the tournament and showcased his ability to go low against a challenging field. He finished +18 overall, making a strong jump on the leaderboard in the final round.
Colby Noblitt once again provided consistency for the Patriots, finishing at +15 overall with rounds of +8, +3, and +4, leading the team across the three-day event.
Landon Luna contributed a solid performance at +23, improving each round with scores of +11, +7, and +5.
Luke Heavin added a +33 finish, while Zane Malone rounded out the lineup at +46.
As a team, the Patriots showed growth throughout the tournament, highlighted by improved scoring in the final round and Safe's standout performance under par.
Mission will look to carry that momentum forward as the Patriots continue their spring schedule.
