In the opening set, The Mission University Lady Patriots held a one to two point lead through the midway point, then York University went on a strong run.  After leading 9-7 the Lady Patriots found themselves in quite a hole, trailing 15-9.  The next momentum swing was in MU's favor as they rattled off nine straight points to lead 18-15.  The teams traded points the rest of the first set giving Mission a 25-22 victory.  Summer Kenney was on fire in the first set as she spiked her way to 7 Kills.  In the second set, the Lady Pats took the lead early, then gradually pulled away to a 10-4 lead.  At 12-7 the Lady Patriots went on a five point run to push the lead to 17-7.  The Lady Lions of York were just never able to get any spark in set 2, as Mission won it 25-15.  Maddie Rue led the way in the second set with 4 Kills.  In the third set, the Lady Pats took a quick 4-1 lead, but the Lady Lions roared back to go ahead 6-4.  MU stayed close and then took the lead for good at 10-9 on a Kill by Ryleigh Fowler.  With a 23-15 MU advantage, the York squad rallied to within 23-19, but Mission put the game, and match away on a Kill by Ella Sims for a 25-19 set win.  Abbi Street knocked down 4 Kills to pace the Lady Patriots attack in the third set.

• Allison Czachowski hit a team-high .500, with 8 Kills.
• Ella Sims had 7 Kills and hit .429.
• Summer Kenney led the squad with 12 Kills, while adding .370 hitting.
• Maddie Rue added .417 hitting, with 6 Kills.
• Rylea King paced the team with 19 Digs.
• Janalyn Kralicek had 18 Assists to lead the team, followed by Ryleigh Fowler's 17.
