The Patriots can’t slow down Falcon bats in Game 2 of doubleheader

Final score-  Kansas Christian College 16, Baptist Bible College 6
Location-  KCC (Kansas City Urban Youth Academy Complex) Overland Park, Kansas
Springfield, Missouri-  The Falcons scored early and often as they forced a split of the two games today by winning 16-6.  Kansas Christian scored 3 runs in the bottom of the second to take the early lead.  BBC countered with 1 run in the top of the second inning.  With one out Drew Wheeler tripled.  An out later Grant Merryman brought him home with a single. 
The Falcons scored two more runs in the bottom of the second inning to lead 5-1.  Then Kansas Christian plated six runs in the bottom of the third inning to post a commanding 11-1 advantage.
In the top of the fourth inning the Patriots got three runs back.  Kam Grant led off with a single followed by a single from D. Wheeler.  Jayton Cromer knocked in both of those players with a double.  Cromer was moved over to third base by Merryman and then Brennan Montgomery hit a sacrifice fly to center field to drive in Cromer, 11-4, KCC.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, however, Kansas Christian scored another couple of runs to push the lead to 13-4.  In the top of the fifth inning the Patriots scored a pair of runs themselves.  Haden Parton and Grant were both hit by pitches with an out in between them.  D. Wheeler placed a line drive double to right field that scored Parton and moved Grant to third base.  Cromer hit a sacrifice fly to right field that plated Grant to make it 13-6, KCC.
The Falcons would end the scoring with three more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, 16-6, and then the Patriots failed to score in their next two at-bats.
