SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The Lady Patriots battled to the very end in a heartbreaking loss, 90-87 to the Fighting Indians. In Coach Madi Wallace's coaching debut, the Lady Patriots played well, despite playing without Josie Sullivan, who is on a mission trip. The Fighting Indians held a narrow 20-18 lead at the end of the first quarter with the lead going back-and-forth the entire first half. The Lady Patriots narrowed the margin to 39-38 by intermission and then outscored Haskell 27-13 during the fourth quarter. Haskell came storming back with a 38-point fourth quarter to take the lead and hold on for the victory.
