Cody Pentecost

Cody Pentecost enters his second season as an assistant for the Baptist Bible College baseball program, primarily working with the hitters and outfielders.

Coach Pentecost played an integral part in last season's success, as the team won the Regional title on the road, then advanced to the National Tournament, finishing the season with a 40-21 record.  

In addition to his role with the BBC Baseball program, Cody is also on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes serving local schools while specializing in baseball-specific ministry, leading him to found the Queen City Crush, an FCA Summer Collegiate Baseball program playing in the ShowMe Collegiate Baseball League. Pentecost has served as the head coach for the Crush since 2018. Before coming on staff with FCA and beginning his coaching career, Coach Pentecost had a successful playing career at College of the Ozarks earning All-Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference honors, MCAC Gold Glove award as an outfielder, and received the national NAIA Champion of Character award as a Senior in 2015. Pentecost graduated with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Business Administration from College of the Ozarks and holds a master’s degree in Sport Management from Missouri Baptist University. Cody and his wife Nickie have 3 daughters (Camryn, Leighton, and Kendall) and reside in Ozark, MO. They are members of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
