Mission Splits Road Doubleheader at Central Baptist

CONWAY, Ark. — Mission University softball earned a split in Thursday's American Midwest Conference doubleheader at Central Baptist, taking game one 2-1 before dropping game two 6-2. The Patriots enter today's regular season finale doubleheader against Haskell at 25-16 overall and 11-8 in conference play

Game One | Mission 2, Central Baptist 1

The Patriots used timely hitting and a strong outing in the circle from Hailey Presley to secure the opener.

Mission broke a scoreless game in the fourth inning, plating both of its runs. Haley Frillman and Mya Frillman each delivered RBI hits in the frame to give the Patriots a 2-0 advantage. Cole Smith added a double as part of a six-hit effort.
