HANNIBAL, Mo. — Mission University baseball delivered a statement performance over the weekend, sweeping Hannibal-LaGrange University in a three-game conference series played across split locations.
Pregame
The Patriots entered the series looking to build on recent momentum in conference play, taking on Hannibal-LaGrange in a unique three-game set with all contests officially counted as road games.
Game 1 Summary (W, 16-0)
Mission opened the series with a dominant offensive explosion, scoring 16 runs on just eight hits while drawing 12 walks.
The Patriots broke the game open with a seven-run third inning, capitalizing on free passes and timely hitting. Trey Mulholland led the way with three RBIs, while Ian Brown and Tony Myres each drove in multiple runs.
Kaedan Thompson added two RBIs and reached base consistently, while Mission's aggressive baserunning created constant pressure.

Mission completed the sweep with another offensive showcase, tallying 13 runs on 16 hits.
The Patriots built momentum early and continued to add runs throughout the game, highlighted by a home run from Collin Miser and a four-hit performance from Ryan Free, who drove in two runs.
