SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Mission University Softball celebrated Senior Day in strong fashion on Friday, sweeping Crowley's Ridge College in an AMC doubleheader at Cooper Sports Complex.

The Patriots came out swinging in the opener, erupting for 14 runs on 16 hits in a dominant offensive performance.
Mission was led by a balanced attack throughout the lineup. Apryl Zeno had a huge day, going 2-for-4 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBIs, while Courtney Merrell added 3 RBIs. MJ Frillman and Maggie Painter each drove in runs as well, helping fuel the Patriots' explosive output.

In the circle, Hailey Presley earned the win, throwing five innings and striking out four while limiting damage against the Crowley's Ridge lineup.
Game Two: Mission 8, Crowley's Ridge 4
Mission carried that momentum into game two, securing the sweep with an 8–4 victory.
The Patriots once again saw production up and down the lineup, finishing with 12 hits. Cole Smith led the way with a strong performance at the plate, recording three hits and 2 RBIs. Haley Frillman added three RBIs, while contributions from Zeno, Merrell, and Hendrickson kept the offense rolling.
In the circle, Kate Potter picked up the win in relief, combining with Jill McDaniel to hold Crowley's Ridge to four runs across seven innings.
Senior Day Impact
Mission's seniors played a key role throughout the day, contributing both offensively and defensively in a pair of strong team performances.
Looking Ahead
The Patriots build momentum after splitting earlier in the week with the University of the Ozarks and will turn their focus to another AMC matchup as they host Williams Baptist University next.
