Springfield, Missouri- The Patriots outhit C. of O., 8-5, in game two of a doubleheader at US Ballpark, but could not put those hits together to muster an offensive attack. The Patriots managed a single run, and lead, in the bottom half of the first inning.
Tate Wheeler singled to lead off. He stole second base, then advanced to third base on a
Dylan Blehm ground out to first base.
Haden Parton knocked in T. Wheeler with a single to make it 1-0.
The Bobcats put together a hit batter and three singles to plate three runs in the top of the third inning to take a 3-1 lead. College of the Ozarks would then double their runs to lead 6-1 in the top of the sixth inning using a Patriot error, a walk, and their two remaining hits.
The Patriots had at least one runner on base every inning, but could not score any more runs.
