Springfield, Missouri-  The Patriots fell behind 7-0 after the first inning, when the Sterling College Warriors batted around, plus two.  Sterling collected nine hits, six in the first inning, and were aided by four Patriot errors over the course of the seven inning contest.  The Patriots finally got on the score board in the bottom of the third inning when Grant Merryman walked.  He stole second base, and two batters later, Drew Wheeler knocked him home with a RBI single.  BBC followed that up in the fourth inning with a single tally to draw within 7-2.  Dylan Blehm laced a gap double with one out.  Elijah Nadurata pinch ran for Blehm and later Tate Wheeler, hit a single for an RBI scoring Nadurata.  The Patriots had a few chances in the last three innings, however, could not push any more runs across.

Up next-  The Patriots go to Paragould, Arkansas, Friday and Saturday, February 17 and 18, for two doubleheaders against the Crowley's Ridge College Pioneers.  The contests would be 1 and 4 pm each day.
